Today, during the Mid-Autumn Festival, people will eat a special sweet cakes known as MoonCakes made of ground lotus and sesame seed paste, egg yolk and other ingredients. Meanwhile, the shops will sell those colourful Chinese paper lanterns in the shape of animals, and more recently or in-hit cartoons, i.e. angry bird..? Oops, maybe... You will see many public parks are ablaze with many thousands of lanterns of all colours, sizes and shapes especially when you are driving or walking through those resident houses.
For me, I have never organised any gathering for this kind of celebration before as I am not staying with family, as same as my sisters and brothers. Well, just make a slightly different this year... Yeah, purposely reach home "on time" after off from office, have a quick dinner and plan to buy some traditional paper lanterns and many many candles more to light up the playground.
It's might be too last minute and those traditional paper lanterns are sold off in almost every shops. Until... until.. we manage to get a only ONE pack of paper lantern (it's about 8-10 pieces in a pack) in a traditional medicine shop. Somehow, the candles are SOLD OFF!! Gosh.. fed up, man... The lantern and candles become so "laku" in that day... ?! What a surprise, the boss has found out half box of candles accidentally and free it to us pleasantly. He might feel the disappointment from our faces.. hahaha... (Staring at the boss innocently ;P)

It's awesome when you see alot of kids surrounding in the playground, run here and there... Those naive-thought, simple-minded, smiley faces are extremely great!! Oh yeah, these two little girls whom we know from the playground, who use their candles and exchange one lantern from us. Omg, sound too bad whenever have a trade with a kid, right?! hahaha... no choice when we need more and more candles that night!
